Church Profile

CEFC, Lehighton, PA began as a home-based Bible study in 1978 with the first church service on July 2, 1978. Located along a state highway, our facility offers a variety of uses both inside and out. We are blessed to reside on fifteen acres of land including a baseball field and picnic pavilion. The building itself has an education wing along with multiple rooms to meet the needs of a variety of ministries. An offsite parsonage is provided. The church has no outstanding debt.

CEFC has had four senior pastors since its beginning. There have also been two associate pastors and three youth pastors.

We are a loving, caring, and supporting group of believers who have always focused on the preaching of the Word and Missions, both local and foreign. We have a strong belief in the power of prayer and the importance of community which helps us to connect with each other and our Savior to lead our steps. Though our current age demographic is on the mature side, we have a desire to be challenged to fulfill our mission and vision to reach those in our surrounding area with the Gospel of Christ.
