CEFC Food Pantry

If you are going through job loss and financial difficulties at  we are here to help.  We open our food pantry on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9 AM – Noon and we are happy to share with you. If you miss the scheduled day please give us a call at 570-386-4547.

CEFC Family Fellowship

Come to church and stay to eat from our buffet of home-made food from our church family.

We love to eat here at CEFC and we love, even more, to share our yummy dishes with friends. Good PA Dutch Food, luscious desserts, healthy salads, and more!  Join us and make a new friend each month. We start after worship service…about noon. We’re also in the process of putting together a cookbook with some of our best recipes to offer to anyone who comes to our fellowship events.

Sister Chix Support Group for
Widows & Divorced Women

No one can understand the pain a women who has lost a husband unless they have experienced it themselves. We have, and we are to support and encourage you during your loss. Our group has been together for 10 years now and we welcome anyone who is unwillingly starting a new chapter of their lives.

Psalm 91:4

4 He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.

We offer this support group the last Sunday of each month  starting at 12:30 PM.  You are invited to come (bring your lunch, but dessert is always provided) and receive encouragement & support from women who completely understand what you are feeling. The Confusion over Female Identity and How Christians Can Respond

Join us starting Thursday evening

August 31 for our new monthly

Ladies Book Club.

 

6:30 PM

We will begin going through Dr. Katie McCoy’s, To Be a Woman together.

Dr. McCoy will help you understand:

  •  Why have we, as a culture, arrived in such a place of gender confusion
  •  What the relationship is between biological sex and gender
  •  The truth about gender transitioning
  •  Common myths and Misunderstanding in the gender debate
  •  What Scripture and science have to say on the matter
  •  How to respond in a Christlike way to loved ones struggling with gender identity
